Anchorage, AK – August 01, 2012 – Vitus Marine has acquired a 49% interest in Central Alaska Energy LLC which intends to construct a fuel terminal at Port Mackenzie Alaska. Vitus Marine CEO Mark Smith said, “Vitus Marine currently transports fuel products from several sources into Western Alaska. The Port Mackenzie fuel terminal project will create access to the Alaska road system market for independent companies who want to control their fuel costs.” Construction is slated to begin in 2013.
