Joseph Kareta leads Vitus’ safety and environmental programs with more than a decade of maritime, petroleum distribution, and spill response experience. A graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy, he holds certifications in ISO, OSHA, industrial hygiene, and security officer training. Since moving to Alaska in 2014, Joseph has advanced safety compliance across Vitus while remaining active in industry organizations and community life.
