Anchorage, AK – May 22, 2012 – Vitus Marine’s CEO Mark Smith was invited to speak at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s conference regarding hydrographic surveys of Alaska’s remote areas. Mark Smith said “There are many challenges operating in remote Alaska, and lack of standard charting is one of them. Having NOAA and industry together to make improvements benefits all the people in the region because it lowers the cost to provide service to the area”.
