Anchorage, AK – December 31, 2012 – Vitus Marine, LLC acquires two companies in which it formerly held partial ownership interests; Central Alaska Energy and Pacific Fishing Assets (PFA). CEO Mark Smith said “These businesses complement our core focus on marine services and energy distribution. Our combination of companies will shorten the energy supply chain, maximizing value to customers.”

PFA operates fishery support vessels, cargo barges and tank vessels in Bristol Bay. Great Circle Flight Services, located at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, offers fuel, ground handling, and concierge services to business aircraft traveling between the US and Asia.

Central Alaska Energy LLC will focus on Port Mackenzie terminal development and fuel sales to the Alaska ‘rail belt.’
